If I remember right, The Case of the Missing Hat Part 3 makes fun of a couple different McFarlane issues of Spiderman. If you can't tell, the unnamed guy with claws and Jed's hat is supposed to be a parody of Wolverine. He's saying, "I got your hat, Bulb!" instead of 'Bub,' like the actual Wolverine says. Even in my early teens I was afraid of a lawsuit.

On the bottom it says, "Hint #1: all of the smoke in the background means he is an illusion! Who could be behind this?" And then on the right it says, "Hint #2: This is the first appearance of a major character.. Buy this!"

The gimmick is that this issue comes with "free air."

This is one of a 12-issue or so collaboration with my friend, Jason. If I remember right, we did every issue between #22 and #34 at his house in one day. We basically made fun of our favorite comic covers, characters and ideas.
